This blog is dedicated to preaching the good news of Salvation through Jesus Christ, the only Son of God.
Despite what the world teaches today, the Bible claims that there are not many ways to God. There is only one way by which man can be saved, and that is by accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour.
Every person on earth will eventually die. However, this first death is only the death of our bodies and not our spirits. Our spirit man will live forever, either in heaven with God or in hell.
Hell is a place of eternal torment and punishment for sin and those who have rejected God’s free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. This is described in the Bible as the Second Death.
In other words, those who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour (before they die), will escape the judgement of God on all mankind. But those who reject Jesus as Lord and Saviour will be judged by God when they die. Two things will condemn them (1) Their unbelief in Jesus Christ (2) Their Sin.
It is not God’s will that any should perish but that all of his creating should inherit eternal life through Jesus Christ.
The Bible says that there are fundamentally two spiritual forces at work in the earth; the kingdom of Light (Jesus Christ), and the kingdom of Darkness (Satan, Lucifer). Jesus Christ has come to destroy the works of darkness and death, and to set free those held captive to the power of sin.
Although we like to believe that we are good people by nature, the Bible teaches that our spirits have been corrupted and tainted by sin. Sin alienates us from God because our sinful nature rebels against the righteous and holy nature of a perfect God.
We do not have the power within ourselves to overcome the power of sin in our lives – it is only the power of God (through Jesus Christ) who enables us to overcome the power of sin and death in our corruptible bodies.
The choice we make for or against Jesus Christ while we are alive on this earth, will determine our eternal destiny.
Church membership, Sunday School attendance as a child, infant baptism, or being born into a Christian family does not mean we qualify to enter into the kingdom of God, and heaven when we die. The only entry point into heaven and the kingdom of God is by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. There is no other God. There is no other way by which man can be saved. We cannot be saved by our own righteousness either.
God has given all power, dominion and authority to his Son Jesus Christ. He is the ultimate authority in heaven and earth, and God has decreed that salvation can only be found through Jesus Christ.
